It's Christmastime In The City!

Four friends and I ventured into New York City on Saturday to see the city at Christmastime and we weren't disappointed! We parked in Jersey City and took the subway into the city and just started lookin'!

"They don't have these in Macungie!"... Emily really needs to get out more :o)

After a quick lunch break, we were ready to go!

We started off in China Town, but didn't find that too interesting (I'm sorry to say it, but after being in foreign countries and seeing pretty much the same stuff, there really wasn't any attraction!) we headed up to Macy's and barely squeezed our way into the door! My one question is, how can anyone shop here???

The busyness of New York streets!

While making our way to Rockefeller Center, my friend and I busted out laughing when we heard one man say, "It's not that difficult people! Just put one foot in front of the other!" That pretty much sums up our trip to the Center. It was like herding cattle:o) so this was my quick shot of the tree. (Oh, thanks to Emily and her instant Internet access, we found out that this tree has 5 miles of lights on it:o).

I thought this was a pretty cool display! Somebody was thinkin' :o).

Emily and I at the counter for dinner. While the piece of pizza I got was the most expensive I've ever eaten, it was good so I'm not complaining:o).

It looks like y'all had fun! Was that second picture of a mall? I've never seen anything like it!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I hope you visit again soon!

It looks like you had a blast! And actually, Macy's is not that bad crowded all the time, I think you probably just went at one of the busiest times of the year! Glad you enjoyed yourself, the city is always so wonderful at Christmastime!

FIVE MILES OF LIGHTS? Wow, whoda thunk it?

And I liked the ornament fountain display also. That was very pretty.

Looks like a good time.

as soon as I saw the title of your blog, I started singing "Silver Bells" :)

I so want to go to NYC around Christmastime....I'll have to try to talk my husband into that. The closest I got was flying into NYC a couple of weeks ago (and then flying right back out.....boohoo!)

Looks like a fun time!
